Ashford, Connecticut Ghost Tales On Halloween night of 2008, I was with my brother and his friend walking at Ashford Lake. I was trying to get a supposed ghost ''sighting'' to do something to show its presence. At the same time and place (Lakeside Dr) our friend's batteries died and my shake flashlight broke in my hand, and it still does not work to this day. It is definitely more than a coincidence since I had experienced other paranormal sightings in the same place at different times. When I was communicating with it, I saw a considerabbly large green orb (roughly the size of a baseball) fling under the bridge and then into the woods. Nobody was around but us. A   gentleman with the head of a demon can sometimes be noticed at Ashford Lake Dam after midnight screaming at the bystander to go away. It's been alleged that this specific ghost could be a famous days gone by native of Ashford. Whatever people express, this is an unlikable ghost that you shouldn't go searching for. A moderately decomposed human body was observed mid stream in Basset Brook going bananas. The ghost acknowledged the presence of the viewer. One thing is for certain, it's a chilling ghost that is better not interrupted.
