A partially translucent man clad as the skipper of a freight ship has repeatedly been perceived on the top of Avery Hill in the early morning hours observing the landscape. Whatever folks express, this is an unfriendly spirit that is rather not messed with. The ghost of a young-looking man wearing a confederate uniform is often seen before sunrise fluttering over Susquehanna Plains.
