Canton, Connecticut Ghost Tales A dark figure, almost like a shadow appears in the early morning hours, checking on residents. I woke up around 1 am, 3 am, and 4 am, everytime I woke up, I'd look over to my bedroom door and there would be a figure standing, looking at me from my door. I would be peeking in. The same night, my mom felt the weight of some one sitting at the end of her bed, but there was no one there. In the same house, my sister walked down into the basement to see a dog and cat head. I also saw a dog standing at the front door, but then it dissapeared. Just recently, my cat was staring at a place on the ceiling, but when I looked where he was looking, I couldn't see anything. I turned off all the lights in the room, and I saw a shodowy thing moving on the ceiling where my cat had been staring. Loads of ghost reports have been disclosed by the residents. People who       have never spent a night in this settlement will surely tell you it's superstition, but not all the locals of Canton are still alive. A man with an axe in his head may regularly be made out laundering a bloody rag in Massacoe Spring on a dark night.   Anyhow, it is certainly a bloodcurdling spirit that is rather not disrupted. A guy's body with the head of a pig has every now and then been distinguished facing the eye witness mid stream in Barbour Brook.
