From a distance Clinton, Connecticut seems like your standard city, but this city is haunted by the undeceased after sunset. Ghosts are so normal in this town; many folks who live here don’t even fret about it anymore. Skeptics don't believe in the local ghost descriptions, but the ghosts of Clinton are out tonight searching for somebody to freak out.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
A female with her head and both arms separated is regularly perceived staring down into the water at Clinton Harbor before dawn.
The spirit of a gentleman clutching a blood-covered knife has purportedly been spotted on one or two instances crying out names of people at Boulder Lake Dam before sunrise. A number of of the residents allege this ghost may be the spirit of a person who lived here who passed on here in Clinton in the past.

ghost of a civil war combatant may repeatedly be observed turning toward the viewer on the shore of Boulder Lake.
The spirit of a gentleman with a pentagram cut into his leg may be spotted repeatedly in East Ledge very late at night shouting at the watcher to disappear.

a swim down at Clinton Beach late in the night. It has been argued that this particular ghost may very well be a celebrated yesteryear native of Clinton.
The ghost of an awfully mangled huntsman hauling a dead wolf is now and then seen in the early morning hours giving a piloted trip of The Ledges to a troop of ghosts. Regardless of what people say, this is an unfriendly ghost that is better not interrupted.
The ghost of a young-looking lady with a cable around her neck has been said to have been observed on a small number of occasions before sunrise climbing out of Cedar Swamp soaked in dirty water.
An exceptionally creepy ghost can sometimes be witnessed sipping blood from a beaker up on the summit of Buell Hill. According to what the local residents claim, this ghost is the tormented soul of a former Clinton local. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a chilling ghost that you do not want to bump into before dawn.
