one of the first houses to be built in Great Barrington. It was built by a wealthy farmer, and at that time it was a very large farm taking up most of the land that is now downtown. He was not what you would call a nice man in life and had a young daughter who died in the house under questionable circumstances. Her name was Alexandria. The same girl the old news paper article spoke of. The same girl my little son played with. We eventually moved out of that house,

and it has since been torn down. Another smaller one story house was built there, but you can still feel the presence on the property when you drive or

walk by.
