East Granby, Connecticut Ghost Tales Several friends and I have seen a black figure with a boyish child's laugh as if it were playing. Also my friend and I were hanging out by a brook when we heard something sneak through the woods. When we got out we looked at trees and they bursted open towards the road. This figure is fast this figure followed my friend and I as if it were hunting us. Folks who have never stayed overnight in this settlement will inform you it's all just superstition, but East Granby is bursting with stressed souls just waiting to spook you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a young-looking woman with a rope around her neck was seen by       Beaverdam Marsh sipping paint. Several folks close by have had matching sightings involving an identical ghost. People say that this phantom loves terrifying foolhardy folks who are brave enough to upset the quiet in East Granby. An enormously bloodcurdling spirit emerged smoking a pipe by Austin Brook. This is one of those phantoms that is   noticed frequently in the neighborhood. The ghost of an old prospector with a sizeable beard and a wooden right leg was made out around midnight sprinting after a passing Pontiac on a shady road in close proximity to East Granby. The ghost did not care that there was somebody other nearby. The spirit of a flight attendant was seen soaring over Terrys Plain late at night. When the eye witness came into view the ghost escaped. Whichever way, this is an intimidating ghost that should be shunned. The phantom of an aged cleaning lady has frequently been perceived visiting The Pinnacle after midnight. A person who lives here claims that this ghost likes startling unwise people who come looking for ghosts in East Granby.
