East Lyme, Connecticut Ghost Tales A guy named Joe was killed in a local school by being locked in a trapped room beneath the stage not to be found for another 15 years only reason he was found was because one of the teachers found Joes name written in blood on the wall of the stage above the trapped door. And now he roams the school looking for other children to put in his hidden room. Some of the dead and buried won't rest in this settlement.       Not everybody trusts in the tales the folks who live here tell, but not all of the dwellers of East Lyme are breathing. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The   ghost of an elderly cleaning lady was perceived resting on a stool in a flat in East Lyme. The phantom was ingested by the air after being witnessed. No matter what, this is a horrible ghost that you do not want to encounter in the early morning hours before sunrise. A black as coal snake that shape-shifted into a woman was witnessed in a rubber raft on Pattagansett Lake thinking. When noticed the ghost came within reach of the viewer who then escaped. The phantom of a dispossessed guy has repeatedly been observed rearranging orbs around next to a streetlamp in East Lyme. Residents say that this spirit is probably the undead spirit of a local who used to have a house here in East Lyme. The ghost of a young cowboy is frequently seen going through the fridge in the kitchen of an East Lyme house late in the night. One thing's for certain, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that any sound person would not want to encounter. A scary beast has been said to have been distinguished on numerous occasions at the water at Banning Cove turning toward the witness. The ghost of a silver-miner may often be observed in Indian Woods at midnight setting up camp. The ghost of a guy clad as a gas station attendant may be seen over and over again going crazy up on the highest spot of Amon Hill. The phantom of a gentleman in a police force uniform has every now and then been made out at Attawan Beach taking a late-night dip. The spirit of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is every now and then made out mounding pebbles at Barnes Reservoir Dam at midnight. A local man declares that this phantom is the undeceased soul of a long forgotten East Lyme person who lived here.
