Farmington, Connecticut Ghost Sightings
Hello again! We were celebrating my brothers 15th birthday and I heard a strange noise my family didn't seem to have heard it so I followed the noise and saw a bolt of black mist shoot past and disappear. What could it mean!?.|

Last year me and my friend were looking at a picture of the Hillstead Museum online, and we noticed that in the picture there was a white see-through mist in both the rocking chairs on the front porch. When my friend outlined the strange objects we noticed they were shaped just like humans! What are these things? Are there really ghosts in Farmington, CT?.

So this morning Nov 1st, at around 5:30 am I woke up in my apartment before my alarm had gone off, so I looked up at my alarm that I keep on my windowsill. While I was looking at my alarm, I saw a man in my hallway. And he stepped into my bedroom and walked to the foot of my bed. I could tell he was wearing a suit and a fedora. It was dark, and he seemed extra dark. He was like a solid human being. Not a shadow or a wispy image. I honestly thought it was a man. The shadow cast from his fedora made it so that I could not see his face well. But you could see the outline and shape and tell that he HAD a face.
I didn't feel scared. I felt very content with this strange man in my room. At the foot of my bed he bent over at his waist, holding his hand against I guess the hem of his jacket to keep it in place, and just the way he bent over, legs straight, bent at the waist leaning over to see my face. It seemed odd. So I turned my head to look at him, and as I turned my head, he vanished before my eyes. Slowly. Feet first. And then I felt an overwhelming sadness. It was like I was so sad that he had left.
