Groton, Connecticut Ghost Tales I lived in a house on Pelican and Gungywamp Rd. When we first moved there we found an odd picture of three pretty girls, teen years near a drawing of a pentagram in the hot water heater room. My wife was pinned down in our daughters bed by her bedspread, comforter over her tight, unable to move. Half asleep someone came to my ear in the back bedroom, telling me to get up. I looked in the mirror and watched something, a shadow, dart towards the ceiling. Something also whispered to my wife but she could not make out what it said. I would smell candles burning outside the back door. Sometimes go in to rooms hearing the TV on--it would not be on. The light bulbs would always go out, in all the rooms. I was reading something somewhat satanic in a bathroom and got a very uncomfortable feeling like I was not alone. A wallet turned up missing on the drive home. It was missing for days. Then it magically appeared with a small amount of money neatly folded in it, right where my wife had just been sitting by the computer in the living room. She called       me about the incident, fairly hysterical--it really startled her, but she was happy to have her credit card back. Often heard people talking outside in the early morning, when probably--there was no one there. Buried the dog leash holder deep in to the ground. Could not get it out two years later, no matter how deep I dug--I kept pulling up unexplainable   pieces of stone out of the ground, as if a graveyard or foundation used to be there.
