I remember vividly seeing the light passing from one room to another through the windows as if there were two pwople walking around looking for something. The Avery House is on the property of fort Griswold state park. I told the Park caretaker that there was someone walking around the house. He insisted there was no way someone was in the House as he had just locked it up. He watched with me for several minutes     as the lit lanterns drifted from room to room. You could even see the flickering of the lanterns. I could Tell the caretaker was scared. Eventually he got the keys for the House and went inside to investigate the cause of the lights. As he entered the Home the lights suddenly disappeared. I a few minutes later I saw him peering out the window. When he came back out he reported that he found nothing. With it being light outside and dark inside the House all I could see was the lights.
