Hampton, Connecticut Ghost Tales I grew up in Still pond farm in Hampton, ct. Ed and Lorraine made many visit to our house. We had well over 300 known spirits. Most were friendly including the young woman of the house (Eliza ) and mischievous poltergeist boy in the kitchen. The home is well known in the town for being haunted. We had incidents several times a day. Little things like noises and things moving around to full blown apparition fox hunting parties in the woods and a demonic force that hung out in the old basement tavern. Some of the buried don't want to pass on in this town. Several people who live here argue there are no ghosts, but everybody who lives in Hampton is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A youthful girl sporting a bloody       wedding gown has repeatedly been seen fluttering over Howard Valley late in the night. A local argues that this ghost is that of a person who had a house here in Hampton some decades ago. Nonetheless, it certainly is a chilling ghost that is rather not upset. A female with a bottle-green face is often witnessed camping out in James L Goodwin   State Forest at night. One of the people who live here steadfastly declares that this phantom enjoys startling foolhardy folks who are courageous enough to disrupt the serenity in Hampton.
