New Fairfield, Connecticut Ghost Tales A woman, usuaully appearing very early in the morning or very late at night, at the cemetery next to the town post office. She is said to be wearing a big, old victorian dress and appears in a fog, then disappears. I have heard of sightings, but never saw her myself. She usually is walking along the street, across the street, or in the cemetery. Submitted by anonymous       Categories: lady, cemetery, fog I was at an all girl camp near Bogus Hill and my friend had lost her glasses so we were going around looking for them. It was pretty close to sunset. As we were walking we heard something in the woods next to us. We both looked and I saw this red male figure running deeper into the woods. Not even on a trail. I asked my friend if she'd seen it and she said that she only saw leaves crunching down and thought it was a squirrel. We were so scared we ran all the way back to our cabin. Submitted by Loren I moved in a new house.It look like a good house with a firplace and lots of space.We went       in the boiling room and there was a trapped door hidden on the wall and it was locked both ways.We finally opened it and we found a little rusted green tricycle.There was a big dirt mond that look like a size of a boy.Everytime we open it the dogs go crazy.We always see things moving in the house. Things take place in this place that can't be explained by science. Not everybody believes in the reports the local residents tell, but the ghosts of New Fairfield are out tonight seeking someone to terrify. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a guy having on a law enforcement outfit was distinguished relaxing in a beanbag in a trailer in New Fairfield. The spirit mentioned avenging a killing. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead has repeatedly been witnessed by Beaver Bog appearing creepy. A man who lives here alleges that this ghost is most likely the tormented ghost of a local who used to have a home here in New Fairfield. No matter what people utter, it's a bloodcurdling spirit that any commonsensical person wouldn't want to encounter.
