Connecticut College, several sightings of a spirit Ruth inside Palmer Auditorium still wanders the building. Freeman Dormitory and Knowlton have students of long days gone by still living there. One instance a tragic young girl hung herself on campus. In the Arboretum on Gallows Lane, you can still hear the screams of a woman that once swung from the gallows. Submitted by Adam Retane
Not everything in New London, Connecticut is as it appears; some long gone folks from the olden days have returned to this place. Night hour is living dead time here. A number of residents say these testimonies are not true, but the stressed spirits of New London are all too real.

A headless man may sometimes be witnessed going out of control by The Kissing Rocks.
The phantom of a surgeon with a blood-splattered uniform was perceived fishing from the shore of Crystal Lake at midnight. The spirit reacted to the observer.

a guy carrying a blood-splattered sword became visible hollowing out a crack down near the water at Alewife Cove. When the spirit was seen it disappeared into the thin air.
An army outfit pacing about lacking a body in it was seen glancing across Sanctuary Basin before dawn. The ghost was gobbled up by the air after being noticed.

ghost of an awfully charred female materialized hovering in the air like a cloud in New London. Frightened by the observers the phantom receded into the shadows.
The ghost of a guy with a word cut into his nose was observed crawling out of Birch Plain Creek Tidal Marsh drenched in mud at night. When seen the ghost moved toward the watcher who then ran away.
The ghost of an engine driver has frequently been observed dining on a hotdog mid stream in Beaverdam Brook.
A woman with no head is regularly noticed gulping motor oil in Babe Ruth Field late at night.
A gentleman with no head has been made out on one or two instances by Manitock Spring very late at night smoking a pipe.
The ghost of an elderly prospector with a sizeable mustache and a wooden right leg can be spotted often articulating into the night up on Allyn Mountain.
The ghost of a flight attendant has every so often been distinguished in a shoe store in the New London area. No matter what folks utter, this is a horrible phantom that should
