The ghost of a tough lumberjack holding a large axe has regularly been witnessed   looking at the surroundings at Branford Supply Ponds Dam in the early morning hours before sunrise. Regardless of what people articulate, it's a chilling ghost that should be kept away from. The frightening phantom of a Viking is often made out reflecting by Beaver Head Swamp. Some of the people who live in this town argue this ghost is the tormented spirit of a former North Branford resident. The ghost of a youthful gentleman dressed in a denim jacket has from time to time been spotted by Baldwin Rock pointing at the bystander. A headless guy is from time to time distinguished having a seat at a coffee table in a North Branford trailer. A female with her right arm and left leg severed has been said to have been noticed on numerous occasions staring at folks in a North Branford residence through a keyhole. An army outfit pacing about without a body in it can now and then be made out looking down into the water at Branford Cove before dawn. Panic stricken by the onlookers the phantom vanished into the darkness. A lot of locals claim this ghost may very well be a distinguished old days inhabitant of North Branford. Either way, this phantom indisputably is terrifying; one that any commonsensical person would not want to bump into.
