No matter what people utter, it's a menacing ghost that is preferably not disturbed. The spirit of a mail carrier is known to have been witnessed on numerous instances in a North Stonington mobile home. A gentleman's body having the head of a horse can be spotted time and again weeping in Assekonk Swamp State Wildlife Management Area in the early morning hours. A number of of the people here say this ghost takes pleasure in frightening unwise people who dare to disrupt the quiet in North Stonington. A feminine person has sometimes been distinguished staring by Assekonk Swamp. One thing's for guaranteed, it sure is a creepy ghost that you do not want to run into after midnight.
