The spirit of a young girl has purportedly been witnessed on several occasions gathering sticks to make a fire in Farmington Memorial Town Forest before dawn.

The ghost of a female with half her head not there may every now and then be distinguished relaxing on the floor in a flat near Plainville.

A woman having a knife in her head was seen late at night creeping
 
    out of Dead Wood Swamp covered in mud. This is one of those ghosts that is observed often in close proximity.

The spirit of a young Indian warrior came into view at the stroke of midnight rushing after a passing car on a murky highway next to Plainville. The spirit didn't care that there was someone other present.

The ghost of a strong
  lumberjack clutching a large axe was seen shouting at the eye witness to go away in Barnes Field in the early morning hours before sunrise. When the eye witness became visible the ghost escaped. People argue that this spirit may very well be a well-known old days dweller of Plainville. Anyhow, it's a frightening ghost that any sane person would not want to run into.

The scary ghost of a conquistador materialized at Batterson Park Pond Dam on a dark night taking pleasure in the surroundings. The spirit mentioned revenging a murder. A local woman claims that this ghost is in all probability the stressed ghost of a local person who used to reside here in Plainville. In any event, it undeniably is a menacing ghost that you shouldn't go trying to find.

A bloodcurdling skeleton was seen at the water's edge at Batterson Park Pond burrowing a cavity. The witness got freaked out and ran away. Regardless of what people articulate, this ghost undoubtedly is terrifying; one that should be avoided.

A luminous human figure was observed
drifting along on Birge Pond Brook at the stroke of midnight. The ghost didn't appear to be agonized by the observers. One of the locals confidently argues that this phantom is the undead spirit of a long departed Plainville local resident. One thing's for guaranteed, this is a horrible spirit that you wouldn't want to come across in the early morning hours before sunrise.
