I picked in Terryville in my child and teen years and went to the tunnel many times. I had made it through the tunnel many times and 3 out of 4 times I have seen things I couldn't explain. If you plan on walking thru the tunnel you will need a flash light even in daylight if you enter on the cannal road side when u walk down the tracks     u turn to the right and about 600 ft before you mcan feel the tempature drop incredibly. Asto what I have seen and heard when I was a teenager I was waking through with friends the tunnel was bearly used one day as we are goin thru you can hear a whistle blow like a train and there are dug out coves to go into in case a train comes in when we heard the train we would feel the tracks u can feel vibration on the track before we heard the whistle but felt no vibration just then we see a mist run to a cove but that cove had a lot of debree in it where a person could   (continued on the next page...)
