I had vivid dreams of both of us walking the corridors with someone just behind us and to our left explaining the history of the inn in a low voice I could barely hear. At l:00 my friend woke me up and asked me to turn off the water in the bathroom - which neither of us had left on. The following night the dream returned, exact in every detail. Just two days ago I found the hotel is reputed to be haunted. The ghost of a young-looking air force pilot was seen rummaging around in the refrigerator in the kitchen of a Torrington trailer at night. This is one of those ghosts that is noticed over and over again close by. A youthful girl having on a bloody wedding gown has often been witnessed dragging a dead body over the grass in Alvord Park before dawn. One thing is for guaranteed, this is an intimidating phantom that any normal person would not want to bump into. A woman with a blue-green face is frequently spotted mounding boulders under a frightening high tree in Paugnut State Forest. Well, it unquestionably is a menacing ghost that you shouldn't go trying to find. A gentleman with a knife in his head has purportedly been perceived on a small number of occasions by Allen Dam late in the night gazing at the water.
