Steep Rock and Hidden Valley are paranormal hot spots. It was populated by Celtic mystics 1500 to 300 0 years ago .There are secret underground chambers , and resident spirits that can shape-shift . There was an ancient mystery school on the site--once home to the Tuatha De Danann . Their work can be seen all over New England and NY state , in the stone chambers .Gungywamp ,Mystery Hill , the chambers in Fahnestock Park , and many other sites leave a record of their presence . NEARA is a good starting point . I have experienced many occurrences of high-strangeness in Steep Rock . The picture was taken not far from the summit on trail .
