West Haven, Connecticut Ghost Tales A few years ago I was coming home from work shortly after 6 am. I was driving down Jones hill Rd. It was still dark and I saw this guy run in front of me. I slammed on the breaks and almost flipped my car. When I stopped I looked around and nobody was there. I can still remember what the guy looked like. He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans that were a little tight, he had a  muscular build, pale skin and blonde hair that was cut in a way that reminded me of a 1950's jock. Ghosts are so standard here; many people who live here don’t even fret about it anymore. A lady with her head and right arm and left leg separated has often been distinguished riding on a llama along a highway in close proximity to West Haven. A number of of the folks who live here say this phantom is probably the tormented phantom of a person who used to dwell here in West Haven. In any event, it's undeniably   a scary phantom that you shouldn't go trying to find. The ghost of a man carrying a blood-covered axe is regularly seen reading a pamphlet by Bradley Rocks. According to the people who live here, this ghost is the undeparted spirit of an old West Haven local person. Regardless of what, this phantom sure is bloodcurdling; one that should be let alone. The ghost of a civil war fighter has allegedly been made out on a handful of occasions seeking another ghost up on the pinnacle of Allington Hill. The ghost of a guy having words engraved into his leg may often be seen in Allington Park very late at night pulling a body through some bushes. The ghost of an engine driver may be spotted frequently gazing over West Haven Flats at midnight. According to what the locals claim, this ghost is that of a local person who settled here in West Haven long ago. A lady with no head has sometimes been spotted gazing by Beaver Pond Meadows. A lot of local residents allege this spirit gets pleasure from startling foolhardy people who are bold enough to upset the silence in West Haven. No matter what folks verbalize, this is an intimidating phantom that is rather not messed with.
