Ghosts are so ordinary around here; a lot of people who live here don’t even fret about it anymore. A woman with the head of a demon has been said to have been made out on frequent instances sawing down a giant tree in Great Pond State Forest very late at night. Anyway, it without a doubt is a scary ghost that you don't want to come across at night.

A female grasping her head beneath her arm may from time to time be witnessed seated in an armchair in a mobile home in West Simsbury. If you listen to the folks who live here, this ghost is the undeparted spirit of a long forgotten West Simsbury
 
    local person.

The spirit of a gentleman with half his head lost was perceived down near Massacoe Spring around midnight digging an outlet. The spirit did not mind that there was somebody else in attendance. In any event, this phantom indisputably is creepy; one that you shouldn't go searching for.

A headless lady came into view mounding
  chunks of concrete in the middle of Barbour Brook. The arrival of the eye witness frightened the ghost who then disappeared. If you listen to what the people who live here declare, this ghost is that of a person who existed here in West Simsbury a long time ago.

The ghost of a ten foot tall huge giant was noticed burning a picture underneath a lamppost in West Simsbury. The phantom spoke of revenging an assassination. Scores of local residents allege this ghost loves scaring people who are courageous enough to disturb the silence in West Simsbury. Regardless of what folks say, it's a creepy ghost that is preferably not disrupted.

The ghost of a woman having half her head not there emerged strolling from home to home late in the night on a West Simsbury street. The bystander was frightened and ran off.

A lady with an axe in her head was made out trying to find a box on the peak of one of the hills in the Barndoor Hills in the early morning hours. The ghost did not seem to be troubled by the eye witnesses.
