Winsted, Connecticut Ghost Tales

I didn't see an actual apparition, but what happened when I lived in an appt on Wallens St. was that when several of my cats were literally climbing the walls and scratching at stuff unseen by me I took instamatic photos and got very distinct images of a swirling smoke. Not long after that I woke up in the morning to find two pieces of my furniture that would of course face out to the room faced to the wall.  Then, soon after, I was pruning a houseplant hung from the shower rod and one of the strings I had cut off hissed across the floor from the bathroom to the  hallway where I was. My friends of course
    said I was just nuts.
