My parents bought the house on Hurlbut Street in 1979 for dirt cheap. The previous owner known as old man Hannon committed suicide by sticking his head in a gas oven. The first thing my parents did was remove the gas oven and replace it with an electric one. The house was built in the 1800s and was a barn before being converted into a house. Some of my friends would not enter the house due to the blue figure that appeared in the upstairs window. Things
were knocked off shelves. The dog would start shaking in the cellar. She stopped going down there. Other crazy things happened as well.|

I lived in a two family house on a little street off the Holabird Ave. Area. When we moved in, all of the bedroom doors had holes in them that appeared to be from padlocks. Every door would have been padlocked from the outside. In the basement there was always just a creepy dark feeling and it always felt like someone was watching.
We lived on the second floor. It felt like someone watching up there too. Even if I was home alone, it felt like there was someone there. On more than one occasion, the radio in my daughter's room would go one at top volume-usually in the middle of the night, sometimes when she was not even home, so it couldn't have been her.
