Woodbury, Connecticut Ghost Tales I lived in a house on hickory lane in Woodbury CT. When my family was there we have seen strange shadows crossing through the basement and attic. one we have identified as a child the other we aren't sure. I recall when my family was gardening out front I went inside to get my gloves when some one beckoned my name. no one was in the house and my family hadn't called me. there have been many more strange things like this in that house. When we moved out at last I went downstairs to take one last look with my sister and I saw the scariest thing in my life. the ghost came out of a little room smiling a creepy disgusting smile. I ran out of the house. Be warned if you move to hickory lane in Woodlake there are unusual things that happen on that street. Loud, and scarry, they are bold. They like to move the bed       and poke at you from under the bed. The activity takes place in the living room. The phantom of a female having half her head missing can once in a while be made out staring down into the water at Big Cove before dawn. It has been argued that this specific ghost likes scaring foolish folks who come trying to locate ghosts in Woodbury. A person with a skeleton face in murky robes has repeatedly been witnessed taking a rest in a beanbag in a residence in Woodbury. A drifting ghost is frequently made out in Bullet Hill Brook appearing scary. Regardless of what people utter, it sure is a bloodcurdling ghost that you do not want to meet at midnight.
