Alfred, Maine Ghost Tales Well me and my sister were walking through the woods...We look up at an abandoned house and say two little girls in the window..then we looked at each other. Then we looked back and they were gone. So took a different trail.. My sister had thought something grabbed her foot and she fell in the water. We went back to that house and it was gone. The next day we went to our friends Aria's house. Her house is old..And she had a very very old barn out back. We saw the too twin girls in it. So we went in the barn. We found a packet..Looked like a little girl writing it said Glen.. it was telling stuff about       her..Then we saw ''I like hanging out with my sister Anne''...we have been trying to find that house and we haven't. You would only know this if you spent a night in Alfred. Then you would know all about   it. Submitted by anonymous There's not a thing abnormal about Alfred, Maine in the daytime, but there are ghosts in this city, and they emerge in the dark hours. Furniture turn about, shrieks coming out of nowhere. People who have never stayed for a few days in this town will tell you it's a pack of lies, but everybody who has settled in Alfred is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A woman with a somewhat transparent body is regularly perceived in Alfred Historic District on a dark night hauling a human skull. The ghost of a guy in a law enforcement outfit has supposedly been made out on a handful of instances crying by The Heath. The phantom of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead may often be witnessed wandering through an Alfred neighborhood cemetery. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a creepy phantom that should be avoided. The ghost of an old gentleman with a long white mustache can be seen very frequently gathering sticks for a fire in Massabesic Experimental Forest late at night.
