The ghost of an old hag was witnessed before dawn examining Britts Shoal in detail. There are additional stories with reference to this spirit in the vicinity.
A female's body having a dog's head emerged spitting at passing cars by the side of a murky highway next to Alna. Additional stories of this ghost have been reported.
