At night we would always hear the sound of a little girl in the hallway either laughing or crying. She also used to gravitate towards our bedroom particularly one corner where the ceiling was slanted downward it would always get colder there. (i think this is probably where she used to play). I glanced over at her and she was looking out at the water.
