A lady with the head of a beast showed up crying out people's names down next to the water at Back Cove. The ghost nodded to the eye       witness. If you listen to what the local residents allege, this ghost is that of a person who had a home here in Bass Harbor many years ago. A woman holding her head beside her arm was noticed late at night leading a lead exploration of High Head to a group of ghosts. When the ghost was witnessed it faded away into the thin air. The   ghost of a young woman sporting a blood-splattered wedding dress was made out gazing crossly at the onlooker in Beach Ledge before sunrise. The ghost was consumed by the night after being seen.
