Bowdoinham, Maine Ghost Tales My sister and I have a friend who's a bit on the wild side, but he's the best.? You may have read the story that Kate Groh posted about a ghost in a scary abandoned old white house.? Well, I'm her sister and I'm here to tell another one of our mind chilling stories.... We went into this abandoned house with our friend, Mike, and explored a little bit. We heard creaking above us, upstairs, so we decided to go check it out. Kate stayed back in fear while me and Mike continued our fearful journey. Earlier he found a picture of a child on the floor of the house and he put it in his pocket. All this weird stuff started happening when it was just the two of us. The doors started swinging shut, there was a slight pressure pushing on our shoulder blades, the straps on our hoodies were flying out of control! That's when it happened... I heard a loud thud behind me, I jumped back in surprise to see that Mike was sitting propped up against the wall with two sheet rock dust hand prints on his jet black hoodie. We ran out of there faster than       possible, not bothering to leave the picture where we found it. A few steps outside Mike realized that he had lost his cell phone and was not leaving until he got it back. He was wearing pants where the pockets are deep enough so that nothing could possibly fall out. Back in the house, on the first step of the first flight of stairs, his cell phone   perched over the edge... We would've heard it fall if he dropped it and his pants pockets couldn't possible let his phone fall out. On the back of the phone was a large, circular scratch with small lines coming out from all the sides..... The house is old with white peeling paint, and no one has lived there for over 20 years. My sister and I got inside and walked up the stairs to see a ghost that looked like an old man. He didn't say anything, but stood there with, not a real book in his hands, but like a gauzy book, that looked like the same material as the ghost. We ran out screaming.
