Bradley, Maine Ghost Tales While babysitting in a house on elm street the lights went on and off, I was so scared. The house had just undergone new electric work due to a house fire. And my parents made me and my charge come to their house.  The house was known to be haunted by my own family members.  Ihat made it even more scary this happened in the winter of 83'. At night, lights would turn on while we were sleeping. There were several nights when my sister and I would fall asleep and wake up and all the toys in our room would be switched around. One morning when my parents woke up, they noticed that all the drawers under their water bed had been pulled open and all of the blankets that were inside had been pulled out. Also, our neighbors reported that when we were not home, the rocking chair in the living room was moving the curtain. The house has beens old several       times since we moved and been remodeled a lot. I always wondered if the people who have lived their since experienced anything strange. I never felt scared there, but I did always feel like someone was with us. Submitted by Tia H. My niece was in my room one day and she was talking to herself and I asked her who she was talking to and   she said that she was talking to the girl in front of her, and I didn't see anyone. I was freaked out and haven't liked my room since then.
