I'm not exactly sure if this is true since I've never sat out there that late at night but here's the story. Indians use to live in these woods and in deadwater there's a lot of them an Indian wife was left to tend to home while her husband went to work and they were building a crossing that was extremely high and across     a drop. He was hard at work and an Accident (or not) happened and he was killed. His wife (after he was buried) went to the beginning of this old trussel and she was crying until she ultimately was overcome by her grief and jumped. Everyone says that if you spend the night there you can still hear her cry and if you're lucky you just might see her!.
