Everything you have written about it so true. I went to jr. High there when I was as kid,7th and 8th grade. I remember in the afternoons when I was upstairs in science class, those doors in the study would slam shut. It was like a shot gun went off. Everyone always jumped. It was always cold in there. I remember having to wear my coat a lot. It was always breezy. But so was the downstairs girls' bathroom. Right under the stair well to go in to the bathroom, cold. I've heard bumps in the night there. But until I read this I thought I was crazy and I went on with my life. :).. But then I read about the town hall. Omg. I used to wind the big clock for the town when I was about 13-14 years old. Those pictures that line the halls are so creepy.
I always felt like I was being watched. And yes all their eye's follow you. It was always cold there also. I lived right across the road from the hall and I used to cheerlead there for b-ball games. I played b-ball. So did my brother. The stage up there always felt kind of Victorian feeling to me. Of course being a kid I would run the halls up and down the stairs, just being a kid and that jail is there, and yes back then they had used it, it shut down just a few years before I was running those halls. Going up to wind the town clock I would heard noises that I attributed it to it's an old building.
But let me tell you it was really really creepy going upstairs then ladders, there was a hole you have to fit up through to find another ladder. I was real small and it was even tight for me. But that was my job so I went up. Now to wind the clock There is a long handle that you grab and turn in a circler motion. The big box of rocks needs to come up from the floor to the gears, then it's good to go for maybe for 2-3 days then I'd go back to rewind it. Every time the gears move for a minute you can see the box of rocks do down it's was fun to watch. But you really never wanted to stay up there very long. Creepy and cold and dark. Felt like someone was watching me most of the to me but I was a kid I did not realize it until I read this article. Now after all those years I have finally found my answers to the school and the town hall.|

The most haunted places in town are the private office of the town library and the old school house. In the library private room the manual typewriter can be heard typing on it's own and the chair in front of the typewriter can be heard scraping back as if someone was sitting there.
