Deer Isle, Maine Ghost Tales There is a house on Oak Point Rd in which there were three terrible deaths. The original owner had many children. There was the youngest one, a little girl, who climbed to the top of a cabinet, and ingested poison which was set by her father to eliminate pests. Years later, an old man died in the bathtub. Shortly after, his wife also died in the bathtub. I slept in this house, and I know the former owner. I felt something evil there. No joke. No lie. This is real. Things go down around here that can't be rationally explained. Several locals allege there are no ghosts, but seeing is believing and if you stay for the night here in Deer Isle, you may perhaps   catch a glimpse of a ghost. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a train driver has repeatedly been observed being carried by a pony beside a highway near Deer Isle. A lady devoid of a head is rumored to have been perceived on several instances slurping apple juice up on Brays Mountain. Regardless of what folks express, this is an antagonistic ghost that any wise person would not want to run into.
