Deer Isle, Maine Ghost Tales There is a house on Oak Point Rd in which there were three terrible deaths. The original owner had many children. There was the youngest one, a little girl, who climbed to the top of a cabinet, and ingested poison which was set by her father to eliminate pests. Years later, an old man died in the bathtub. Shortly after, his wife also died in the bathtub. I slept in this house, and I know the former owner. I felt something evil there. No joke. No lie. This is real. Objects move about, sounds coming out of the dark. Several locals argue there are no ghosts, but the ghosts of Deer Isle are out tonight searching for somebody to terrify. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. An enormously chilling ghost has repeatedly been spotted facing the eye witness under a lamppost in Deer Isle. The ghost of an elderly       woman carrying a revolver has been said to have been perceived on a handful of occasions up on Brays Mountain screaming at the viewer to stay away.
