I was in high school during this time and just lived there with my mother. I was always very doubtful as to whether or not ghosts actually exist prior to living in this house. The first incident I had was a duriong the day a basket filled with my mom's makeup flew off a shelf in the bathroom and smashed against the wall across the room. It came     inches from hitting my head. There was no logical explanation for it and it more confused me than frightened me at the time. My mother fell ill and was in the hospital for 2 weeks so I had friends spending the night a lot. One night my friend said he saw a man in red plaid on my back porch, but I checked and no one was there. Then a day or two later I recall seeing a flash of very distinct red plaid go by me in the kitchen and vanished. This was when I began to question the energy of this house.
