My family bought the last House on Richards Street in 1983 and my father lives there still. The most significant thing about this neighborhood is that Cyrus Everett was murdered and found buried under a log out in the field at the end of Richards Street and Cogswell street. Several times a     boy in a dark overcoat has been seen walking in the field and on Cogswell Street at night. Just a glimpse and then is is gone. One night about 1984 or 1985 I was coming Home from my job in Presque Isle and it was late. I made the left turn onto rt 1a and headed into town. It was a foggy night and just as I got to the top of the Hill by the cemetery I saw a Man and a woman in the roadway. Both were wearing depression Era clothing and she was sitting on an old fashioned suitcase he was standing beside her with his hand on her shoulder.
