Some of the departed will not stay underground in this municipality. Several people who live here say these descriptions are lies, but seeing is believing and if you stay an extra day here in Fryeburg, you might distinguish a ghost.

A lady with a semi transparent body became visible in Bradley Memorial Park late at night staring crossly at the bystander. The phantom did not care that there was somebody other there. Local people who have distinguished this ghost argue this ghost is perhaps the tormented ghost of a local person who used to dwell here in Fryeburg.

The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead was spotted walking from apartment to apartment in the early morning hours on a Fryeburg road. When the watcher emerged the spirit ran away.

The ghost of a gentleman

wearing an army outfit was perceived glancing at the sight from the apex of Bald Peak late in the night. The appearance of the watcher terrified the ghost who then vanished. Anyhow, it's a frightening phantom that you shouldn't go searching for.

A medieval armor without a human inside was perceived carving a cavity by Swans Falls late at night.
The ghost talked about revenging a homicide.

A semi translucent guy dressed as the captain of a craft has frequently been observed by the water at Clays Pond devastating a box.

A big scary ghost is repeatedly observed struggling to deposit a dead body in Swimming Bog late in the night. In any case, it's without a doubt a scary ghost that is better not interrupted.

The phantom of a young gentleman wearing a confederate uniform has been said to have been noticed on a handful of instances munching on a cracker by Beaver Brook. No matter what people articulate, this spirit indisputably is menacing; one that you do not want to bump into at night.
