The ghost of a man carrying a blood-covered spear has occasionally been seen looking down into the water at Adkins Point before sunrise. In any case, it sure is a frightening spirit that you wouldn't wish to meet in the early morning hours.

The ghost of a civil war soldier has supposedly been
  seen on a few occasions at the stroke of midnight checking out Britts Shoal in detail. Regardless of what, this ghost sure is chilling; one that any sensible person would not want to bump into.

The phantom of a badly scorched lady may sometimes be spotted burying a dead body by a sizeable boulder in Capitol Park at the stroke of midnight. A resident declares that this ghost is the undeparted spirit of a long gone Gardiner person who lived here.

The ghost of a train driver was spotted by Bond Brook trying to grip something. The spirit greeted the witness.

The ghost of a terribly mangled huntsman dragging a dead deer showed up hanging in the air like a blimp in Gardiner. When the ghost was made out it vanished into the night.
