We were going out of the driveway and I saw a old man standing in an old abandoned house window where my grandparents lived for years .

Hiram, Maine seems the same as any other location in the States, but when the darkness of night commences; things get bloodcurdling. Things go down in this town that cannot be rationalized. Several locals assert these descriptions are not true, but everybody who resides in Hiram is not alive.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
An extremely frightening spirit became visible pulling a corpse from the cold water of Barnes Brook late at night. Additional sightings of this ghost have been reported.
The ghost of an elderly prospector with a sizeable beard and a wooden leg was spotted down near Great Falls after midnight sipping orange juice. Many people nearby have had equivalent events with an identical spirit. Folks here assert that this ghost is the undeceased spirit of a long forgotten Hiram resident.

The phantom of an elderly Indian chief has repeatedly been spotted speaking into the thin air down near the shore at Ossipee River Reservoir. One of the local residents strongly claims that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was murdered while traveling through Hiram a long time ago. No matter what people express, this ghost certainly is creepy; one that is preferably not upset.
