Howland, Maine Ghost Tales


Howland, Maine is an outwardly standard neighborhood provided that the sun is up, but under the surface there are odd things going on. Ghosts are so regular in this town; a lot of locals don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. Some locals argue there are no ghosts, but with so many ghosts in Howland you have a rather great chance of catching a sight of one if you stay overnight in this town.

A guy with the head of a goblin has purportedly been noticed on a handful of instances swallowing milk in Pond Farm State Wildlife Management Area at midnight.

A female alight, carrying a kerosene bottle may be distinguished over and over again next to Mohawk Rapids before dawn smoking a pipe. It has been argued that this exact spirit can be the soul of a person who lived here who died here in Howland a long time ago. In any event, it's a scary ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.

The ghost of a youthful air force pilot has now and then
 
    been noticed very late at night struggling out of Thousand Acre Bog drenched in slime.

A young-looking girl having on a bloody wedding dress is every so often made out rummaging around in the closet in the bedroom of a Howland mobile home in the early morning hours before sunrise.

A man having a machete in his head has purportedly been perceived on a small number of instances at Cold Stream Pond Dam before dawn holding a human cranium.
