Custom Search Limerick, Maine Ghost Sightings Maine > Limerick Limerick PAGE 1   2        I've had a lot of encounters in Lake Arrowhead on Leisure Ln. , I remember my first encounter I was walking past Edge Hill Road when I did my normal glance down one of the public beaches. When I did, I saw someone running up to me and waving. I couldn't make and distinct feature it was much too dark, I waited for him to approach and he started to speak and put out his hand , ''hi , sorry but I rea....'' He reached his hand out for mine and as soon as I     was supposed to make contact , his figure just faded from view and he was cut off from his speaking. This really scared me and I actually ran home. Submitted by Gary        Categories: home, figures, road, lake, hill Being a waitress I worked at the Lake Side Grill restaurant. I heard many stories about this building. It was the tavern rooming house for the mill across the street, I heard of two ghosts, that resided there, from the era 1800 one was of a man who hanged himself in the front stair well, and died, the other was of a woman who was having an affair with a married man. Apparently the wife of the man had went up to the back stairs and poisoned the woman and she died not long after. The man will move things around make noise and he will touch you. The woman has been seen in the back hall and she looks lost.   (continued on the next page...)
