Monson, Maine Ghost Tales The House On The Hill From Where I Live Has Many Tales From The Locals. The Stories As Scary. After Talking To Many I Am Inclined To Believe The Stories. On Of The Many Tales That Has Evolved Is A Family Lived There And The Husband Killed His Wife Then Himself Thus The Hunting Begins Strange Things Have Been Seen By Many Who Dare Live In The House. The Man Who First Bought The House After The Killings Hired Two Local Men To Paint The Rooms In The House. One Room In The House  Was Painted A Awful Purple Color And He Wanted It Changed To A Nice Green Color. Well As The Tale Goes By Those Two Men They       Used Three Gallons Of Paint On Those Walls And The Next Morning The Wall Was Purple Again So They Looked At Each Other Picked Up The Paint And Used Another Three Gallons. They Returned The Next Day And   The Wall Was Purple Again. They Had Work To Do In The Celler So They Proped Open The Door With Cinder Blocks So The Wind Had No Way To Shut It And Stated Cleaning The Celler All Of A Sudden Bam The Door Slamed Shut They Tried Several Times With The Same Result. The Owner Lattered Showed Up And Assused Both Men Of Stealing The Paint. When They Tol Him All Six Gallons Where On The Walls He Didn'T Believe Them. After Much Consideration Both Men Quit And Vowed Never To Step Foot In The House Again.Several Families Have Come And Gone All With Stories Of Tv'S Going On And Off By Themself'S Knives Flying In Rooms When No One Was There. Chairs Rocking By Themself'S. The House Is Now Boarded Up And For Good Reason As I Write This I Am Now A Beliver Myself At Night You Look In The Upstairs Window And You Can See A Light On In The Room. Funny Thing The Electricity To The House Has Been Cut For Three Years. I Now Walk On The Other Side Of The Road When I Pass The Haunted House.
