Peaks Island, Maine Ghost Tales This is weird. I was staying my attic in my cottage when this weird white figure appeared. We have a really old Television and it turned on and started flickering black and white. I told the ghost to go away and it did. Then later at 3:00 am it came back and I screamed go away and it has been appearing on and off. Tables jump around, noises coming from the dark. Some people who live here say there are no ghosts, but with so many ghosts in Peaks Island you have a quite perfect chance of spotting one if you stay an extra day here. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A partly rotten human cadaver is from time to time spotted next to the water's edge at Andrews Beach sobbing. A female in flames, grasping a gas tank may occasionally be witnessed in a hardware store in the Peaks Island       vicinity. The ghost of a young-looking air force pilot was distinguished gazing down into the water at Andrews Nubble at midnight.
