The spirit of a youthful woman having on a blood-splattered wedding gown has often been witnessed in Big Meadow Bog at the stroke of midnight struggling to dump a dead body. Residents who have seen this ghost say this ghost is that of a local person who dwelled here in Pittsfield a long time ago.
The phantom of an 8 foot high huge man is often seen in the middle of Beartrap Brook destroying a glove. People here assert that this ghost likes startling unwise people who have the courage to disrupt the calm in Pittsfield. In any case, this is an unpleasant ghost that should be kept away from.
