Custom Search Rangeley, Maine Ghost Sightings Rangeley PAGE 1   2     About 15 years ago we were eating in the dining room at Rangeley inn. My seat at the table gave me a Clear Diagonal view of the stairway leading up to what I presume are guest quarters upstairs. While waiting for our meal to arrive I was glancing around the room and there at the foot of the stairs facing me was a little boy maybe 6 or 7 years old with dirty blond hair in a ''buster brown'' haircut wearing a navy Blue child's     ''sailor suit'' with short pants. Then he just wasn't there anymore. It was more mystifying than frightening. I told my husband what I'd just seen and after dinner asked about any history of the inn -- I didn't say why I was curious -- but no one could Tell me anthing. Does anyone know anything about the place or whether this child I thought I saw might have any connection to the inn?.
