One of the locals strongly asserts that this spirit is perhaps the undeceased spirit of a person who used to have a home here in Sargentville. Anyway, this is an unfriendly phantom   that should be avoided. A moderately see-through man outfitted as the captain of a ship came into sight by Barneys Mistake reading a newspaper. The appearance of the eye witness alarmed the ghost who then disappeared. Some folks declare this ghost is the undeceased spirit of a former Sargentville local.
