One night my mom and I were driving home from Girl Scouts, as we were driving by the Shapleigh fields we saw a man walking by the road... It was weird because Shapleigh is a town that is not near anything AT ALL. As we started to drive closer to him he was gone. We thought that maybe he has a home more in the woods or something along the lines of that.... Two days later my mom got a little freaked out when she was looking

up Shapleigh Town History in our library. She found a story that was about a man that died over there and he was seen in a long coat and hat.

And it just happened to be that the man we saw was in a long coat and hat. We couldn't make out any face because he was gone before we got there.
