I just moved to Madison Maine and live near the Lakewood theatre. Being new to Maine and the feeling of living in the middle of nowhere I found myself getting spooked out very easily we live on a very quiet Street and I've heard that the old abandoned cabins near the theatre are haunted and would love more info if anybody has had any experiences.
Please feel free to email me at kim. Brooky@gmail. Com thanks!.|

As someone who lived in the old Skowhegan Jail, let me tell you a few things. Most of the time when I would go to the basement to do laundry, I could see the hands of people sticking out of the jail bars even though they are not renovated into doors.
After many cold nights in the apartment, I moved one of my friends in with me to stay at night because of the coldness, noises, and movement I would hear. I lived on the second floor, and would not recommend anyone move in there.
My things would constantly move, and I would hear rattling at odd hours. It was almost like there were still prisoners living in the building with me. I don't know that any of them would have hurt me, but I could feel there presence.
