South China, Maine Ghost Tales

Loads of local residents declare this ghost could be the spirit of a local who died here in South China many years ago. In any event, it's a chilling ghost that any sound person wouldn't
  wish to bump into.

The spirit of a 12 foot tall colossal man is once in a while seen crawling out of Emery Swamp soaked in dirty water at night.

The ghost of a teenage girl is rumored to have been noticed on numerous occasions peeping through residence windows in South China around midnight.

A shape with a skeleton face sporting gloomy robes can occasionally be seen staring crossly at the bystander up on the summit of Cook Hill.

A drifting ghost has frequently been distinguished pulling a body from the cold water of Brann Brook at night.
