Loads of locals allege this ghost is that of a resident who had a home here in Weld some decades ago. Anyway, this is an unfriendly spirit that you would not want to come across on a dark night.
A gentleman lacking a head was witnessed in Mount Blue State Park in the early morning hours burying a dead body by a large rock. The ghost did not care that there was somebody else there.

The ghost of an elderly female holding a handgun has regularly been noticed hauling a cadaver from the chilly water of Alder Brook before sunrise. In any event, it's a scary phantom that you shouldn't go trying to locate.
