A woman with maggots crawling out of her ears has supposedly been seen on several instances staring at the waves near the shore at Crescent Surf on a dark night. One thing is for sure, it's a chilling ghost that you wouldn't want to come across after midnight.
The ghost of a strapped up lady may regularly be distinguished mailing a box at a Wells post office. If you listen to the residents, this ghost is the undeceased soul of a long dead Wells local.
A lady with the head of a leprechaun has every so often been made out at Back Creek at midnight looking down into the water.
A female hauling her head next to her arm is known to have been made out on a few occasions before sunrise visiting Bald Head Cliff.
