Acushnet, Massachusetts Ghost Tales A home on Middle Road has been haunted for over 40 yrs. While I lived there you could hear a car go up and down the drive way, the car door open and closed and sometimes open the 2 doors to get into the house. He would follow me around the house and walk beside me up the stairs and walk in a circle around me when I stopped to do something. There was one special mirror that when used he would call my name and ask me to follow him. His body was found by mistake many, many years ago. It was just bones then and came with the home. Beside the body was a rock with 2 initials on it and one initial was too faded to read. It was chiseled on the rock. Some believe there is money in the walls of the home but nothing has ever been found or looked for. He is a pleasant ghost but he can cause a racket when he wants to.
